Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of PDF Toolkit (the “App”), provided by Codeyard Studio. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

PDF Toolkit is a professional, offline-first PDF application for iOS and Android. It helps you view, organize, edit (where supported), annotate, scan, OCR, optimize, redact, compare, convert, and otherwise work with PDF documents primarily on your device.

Some capabilities depend on how a PDF was created. Structural text editing, OCR language coverage, repair success, form support, and conversion layout fidelity may vary. The App does not claim unlimited “edit any PDF,” CMS digital signing, PDF/A certification, or XFA form editing unless explicitly stated in-product.

Subject to these Terms, Codeyard Studio grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store and/or Google Play terms.

You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the App except as allowed by applicable law.

• You are responsible for the documents you import, create, edit, share, or delete
• You must have the rights to process any PDF you use with the App
• You are responsible for backing up important files
• You must comply with applicable laws when redacting, sharing, or distributing documents

Some features may require a one-time or other in-app purchase processed by Apple or Google (and optionally RevenueCat for entitlement status). Purchases are subject to the applicable store’s refund and billing policies. Premium status does not transfer document processing to Codeyard Studio servers.

PDF Toolkit is a productivity tool. Results of OCR, conversion, compression, repair, comparison, and editing depend on input quality and PDF structure. Always review outputs before relying on them for legal, medical, financial, or archival use.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CODEYARD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue or modify the App. Provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
