Privacy Policy

Billcraft ("the App") is developed by Codeyard ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.

By using Billcraft, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

All data you create in Billcraft is stored locally in a SQLite database on your device. This includes:

• Business profiles – name, logo, address, payment details, invoice settings
• Customers – names, contact information, billing addresses
• Invoices & estimates – line items, amounts, taxes, discounts, status, dates
• Recurring schedules – billing frequency, templates, generated invoices
• Expenses – amounts, categories, dates, descriptions
• Line item templates – reusable products and services
• App settings – theme preferences, currency, notification settings

Billcraft is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect:

• ✓ Personal information or account credentials (no sign-up required)
• ✓ Invoice, customer, or financial data
• ✓ Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• ✓ Device identifiers for advertising
• ✓ Location data
• ✓ Crash reports sent to our servers
• ✓ Any data via cloud sync or remote servers

Because we collect no personal data, GDPR and CCPA data subject requests (access, deletion, portability) do not apply — there is nothing for us to provide or delete. Your data exists only on your device.

Billcraft provides tools to export and back up your data. You are entirely in control of your backups:

• Backups are created as files on your device
• You choose where to save them (local storage, iCloud, Google Drive, etc.)
• We never receive, store, or access your backup files
• Restoring from a backup is performed locally on your device
• Sharing a PDF invoice sends the file directly from your device to your chosen recipient — we are not involved

Billcraft does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud storage SDKs that collect your data.

The App may use platform services provided by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) for:

• App Store / Play Store – for downloading and purchasing subscriptions (handled entirely by Apple/Google)
• Local notifications – for invoice due-date reminders (processed on-device)
• System share sheet – for sharing PDFs (you choose the destination)

These platform services are governed by Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies, not ours.

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Access – all your data is visible within the App at all times
• Export – use the in-app backup/export feature to create a portable copy
• Delete – delete individual records in the App, or delete all data by uninstalling the App
• Portability – export your data to a file you can move to another device

We cannot fulfill data access or deletion requests because we do not possess your data.

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you use the App. We do not retain any copies. If you uninstall Billcraft, all local data is removed from your device (subject to your device's own backup policies, such as iCloud device backups).

Your data is protected by your device's operating system security (device encryption, passcode, biometric lock). Billcraft stores data in the App's sandboxed storage area, which other apps cannot access.

We recommend keeping your device updated and using a strong passcode or biometric lock to protect your business data.

Billcraft is a business productivity app not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
