Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

Data stored locally on your device:

• Workout sessions, exercises, sets, reps, and weights
• Personal records and streak information
• Custom exercises and workout templates
• Training plans and progress
• Body metrics (weight, body fat %, and body measurements) if you choose to log them
• Nutrition logs (food entries, calorie and macro targets) if you choose to use them
• Habit tracking data if you choose to use it
• App preferences and settings

Data shared with third-party services (only when you opt in):

• Apple Health / Health Connect: Workout data, body weight, and body fat percentage — only when you enable the sync toggle in Settings.
• AI Coach (Trainix Pro only): When Pro subscribers use the AI coaching feature, your recent workout statistics (session counts, volume, movement balance) are sent to our AI provider to generate personalised advice. No personally identifiable information is included.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers.
• We do not require account creation or login.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Analytics & Advertising

Trainix uses Google AdMob to display ads on the free tier. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregated, anonymous usage patterns (e.g., which features are used most). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

4. In-App Purchases

Trainix offers a premium subscription ("Trainix Pro") managed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Payment processing and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple and Google. We do not receive or store your payment information.

5. Data Storage & Security

All your workout data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. We do not have access to your data. If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed.

You can export your data as a JSON backup file at any time from Settings → Backup & Restore.

6. Apple Health & Health Connect

If you enable Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) integration:

• Trainix will read and write workout sessions, body weight, and body fat percentage.
• This data stays on your device and is governed by Apple's or Google's respective health data policies.
• You can revoke access at any time in your device's Health settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Trainix is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• View, edit, or delete any workout or metric data within the app.
• Export all your data using the backup feature.
• Delete all data by uninstalling the app.
• Disable Apple Health / Health Connect sync at any time.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
